Strathmore Cricket Club

The SPCU AGM took place last Sunday at Forthill. This saw the league awards presented for the 2012 season with a few prizes heading to Strathmore:

The club was presented with the runner.up award for the 2nd Division. There were also individual prizes for Mark Stewart (Premier Division Fastest Century), Alan McKay (2nd Division Bowling Average) and Gary Hewitson (2nd Division Fastest Century).

A few decisions were also taken that will see some changes next season. A number of changes have been made to the playing conditions which will hopefully lead to more cricket getting played in the future. Also, the bottom divisions have been restructured so that there will not be a 2nd and 3rd division - instead there will be 2 more regionalised North & South divisions.
