While there was no cricket at Lochside on Sunday, elsewhere in the country the Scottish Cup Final was taking place with Heriots being crowned 2021 champions.
The significance?
2021 is the 50th anniversary of our own Scottish Cup (Rothman's Quaich) triumph 🏆!
While the current winners celebrate their weekend success, we take a moment to recognise and applaud the achievement of our victorious squad of '71 who, by defeating a strong Kilmarnock side (featuring no fewer than 4 Scottish internationalists) on August 15th 1971, became the first winners of the competition from the second division of Scottish cricket and etched their names into Strathie history 👏👏👏.
