Strathmore Cricket Club

It is with deep sympathy that Strathmore Cricket Club reports the recent death of long standing member Tom Albiston.

Tom,Tam to his friends, was in his 91st year and died peacefully at Whitehills Hospital, Forfar on Tuesday, 3 July 2012.

Sunday night at the Club was a regular hot spot for Tam where he would walk down from Andrew Smyth Gardens for a bottle of beer a few OVD rums. During the night many tales of yesteryear would be told amongst his group of pals; each funnier than the last.

Tam was a true gent and he will be sadly missed by all at Strathmore Cricket Club.

The thoughts of the Club are with his family at this sad time.

Funeral arrangements:
Alexander Bain's Service Rooms, Myre Road, Forfar on Wednesday 11 July 2012 at 1.30pm, followed by committal at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim at 2.30pm.
