Strathmore Cricket Club

Last Sunday saw the Forfar Marafun successfully completed by the cricket club's team. In the baking afternoon heat, the squad (consisting of Craig McDonald, Chris Milne, Stevie Blackie, Grant McLaren and Gary Hewitson) took to the streets of Forfar running to raise some funds to boost the club's coffers. The team ran well (especially taking into account the temperature!) and finished the 26 miles in 3 hours 49 minutes.

The 5 runners are still collecting sponsorship for their efforts and hope to raise upwards of £500 for the club.
